Presentation Model

This project, completed in July 2005, is the result of a design-build competition.  The DK Design Group created the winning design as well as the model to present it to the County Board. 

This wood framed, 11,962 sf building is designed for flexibility of use, both inside and outside.  It is the centerpiece of the entire Emmet County Fairgrounds Complex and will be used for fair activities, wedding receptions, trade shows and many other community events.

 

 

 

 

 

The exposed wood trusses give the vaulted space an open, airy feel.
