The DK Design Group was founded in April, 2004 by Dean DeKryger and Scott Kleinsorge. At that time, we left the firm in which we were partners because we knew that we could provide a better product and better service on our own. We have been licensed architects since 1994 and we are licensed in twelve states. Our firm consists of two architects, four technicians and one secretarial/support. Our resumés are included for your reference later in this section.

 

Our offices are located at 1104 S. Mitchell, the site of the former Michigan State Police Post. We fully renovated this historic building and moved into it in July, 2005.

 

The DK Design Group has worked successfully with a number of consulting engineers. Consultants are selected for each project based on their applicable experience as well as their ability to serve the Owner’s time and budget requirements.

 

We have successfully completed a wide range of project types and sizes. We pride ourselves on our continuing relationships with project owners, contractors, developers and public officials. We strive to base all of our working relationships on our Christian principles.
